This tool calculates period in nanosecond (ns) from the frequency in Hertz (Hz).

The period T is the inverse of frequency f

T (seconds) = 1/f (Hz)

T (nanoseconds) = [1/f (Hz)]*109

Since

1 s = 1,000,000,000 ns

T (nanoseconds) = 1,000,000,000/f (Hz)
Example Calculations
  • A frequency value of 50 Hz is equivalent to 20,000,000 ns
  • A frequency of 100 Hz is equivalent to 10,000,000 ns
