Most seeds are hybrids, crosses of different varieties that will not faithfully reproduce from their seed.
since hybrid seeds may not be available, people need to look towaeds Heirloom seeds, which do faithfully reproduce from their own seed.
there are still many plant varieties to choose fron for a successful garden.--
