Doing the E-Bay Cheap Chinese parts thingy

#1

Post by KD8DEY »

Ordered a "bunch o crap" off E-Bay. Packages slowly starting to come in the mail. (Takes a few weeks)
1/4w resistor assortment
50v Ceramic cap assortment,
Zenier & Voltage regulators.
Transistor assortment....

still need to do Electrolytics, Mica caps, diodes etc...
should be stocked up on play toys by the time I get my eyes fixed :Confident:
Is it just me, or does "Googling Yourself" just not sound right?..

I did that a while back. By the time the parts showed up, I'd forgotten why I'd bought them. :Rolling:

Cast iron and stainless cookware, baby! And no bloody teflon!
I blame it on a misspent youth finally catching up :) Nice usage of the double birdie, BTW :Rolling:

I really need to regain my electronics knowledge from years past. All that Coast Guard ET/TT school training has been going to waste. The TT (telephone tech) school stuff is deader than a dodo tho, given the rise of digital telecomms. Once I left the CG, most of my time was spent in computers. I gained a lot of new skills, but the old ones withered.
