W8BI Special Event hours

In addition to the OSO Party on May 16 from 8 am to 8 pm, we are proud to announce that this year the W8BI Special Event Station, and its team members, will AGAIN be “On The Air” Hamvention weekend as W8BI. This year, we will be operating under special circumstances as  “Virtual Special Event Station W8BI”. We’ve decided to add some special things we couldn’t offer during the normal station operating conditions.  This year we will operate on the May 15th, 16th and 17th starting at normal hours *with the exception of the QSO Party hours (May 16, 8 am to 8 pm) * on all Hamvention ® days from opening until the band conditions close on the following special bands and frequencies: 20 meters           14.270 +- QRM Phone 40 Meters           7.224 +- QRM Phone 80 Meters           3.877 +- QRM Phone ** 160 Meters         1.875 +- QRM Phone ** ** New later opening bands PDF printable certificates (suitable for framing) confirming your contact with Virtual Special Event Station W8BI may be obtained via e-mail!  Please send your e-mail address, call sign, date, and frequency of the contact to:  [url=mailto:specialeventstation@hamvention.org]specialeventstation@hamvention.org[/url] Please join us for a great fun-filled weekend from your friends at Hamvention and DARA!
