Waiting on Dorian.

Post by AC8UN »

Well here in Virginia Beach conditions are supposed to go downhill starting tomorrow mid morning/early afternoon. Hatches all battened down, keeping my head low.

What part of VA Beach are you in, Karl?
I was stationed over at CG Support Center Portsmouth (Chesapeake, actually) back in the '80s.

I'm about 7 miles inland from the statue of Neptune if you know where that is, close to the area they call town center. Or about 5 miles west of Oceana.

My only child talked me into this about a year ago, she's married to a Navy man, and is quite happy.
With my health concerns she wanted me close so she could nag me like her mother used to. I need to find my paperwork with my F.R.N on it and update the uls but I'm not worried about it as long as I'm not on the air.
