Kenwood hybrids--who has one?

I'll start. I have a TS-520SE that I bought the summer of 2014 off of eBay. After a thorough alignment it has worked like a champ. I've added an MC-50 microphone, DG-5 digital display, and an Autek audio filter. Even though the 'SE has the 500 Hz CW filter, the Autek does a nice job especially with its peaking filter.

The radio is a solid performer and I try to fire it up at least once per week for the Vintage Kenwood Hybrid Net on 20m.

My only HF radio at the moment is a TS520 and I love it.

I have a complete TS-520S station including the VFO, antenna tuner, and speaker. It still has the original 2001A finals in it and will load up just over 100 watts on 40 meters. Built like a tank and a very hot receiver.

I went through it about seven years ago with DeOxit, also did a complete alignment on the receiver. It has a stock 500 HZ CW filter in it and with the outboard audio DSP filter it is a very potent CW rig. No one builds radios this good anymore, the KW hybrids are just about the most bullet proof rigs ever made.

I see a ts520 on Craigslist not too far from here, has the outboard vfo and a D-104 for a song. Wish I had those extra coins.... damnit
