I found this thread after I joined and replied before I saw how old it was.
Did you end up making the ladder line? The internet makes it seem like a hassle to work with, but I'll probably never feed a wire with coax again.

No, unfortunately I've gotten myself off on other tangents lately. I still plan on using ladder line for the loop, whenever I get that one up. I love the insulator/zip tie idea; I'm going to steal that one as it appears the easiest and most cost effective way I've seen lately.
